What will the weather be like?

May is considered a “shoulder season” in the Cancún area. Cancún typically experiences warmer and humid weather, marking the transition from the dry season to the wetter months. The typical highs are in the low to mid 80’s and lows in the mid 70’s. The likelihood of rain is relatively low.

What's the dress code for the wedding?

With the weather in mind, it is going to be humid/warm(ish) so we want to make sure everyone is comfortable, but still looking your best! Our dress code is “Fancy Resort Wear” - Think linen fabrics, dresses & lighter - fun colors.

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?

The venue is onsite! You will not need to go anywhere else.

One of the Hacienda addresses shows up across the street, is that really true?

No!! I am not sure why the address shows across the street but I assure you, they are right next door to each other! That was part of our whole wedding vision with renting these two haciendas.

Are children invited?

Unless we have told you separately, this is an adults only weekend!

I have a passport card, will that work?

Unfortunately no! You will need a real passport book to fly into the Cancun airport.

Do you have a registry?

We’re so grateful that you’re joining us for our destination wedding, and we understand that attending comes with travel and other expenses. Since you’re already packing a suitcase and making the trip, that’s more than enough. We kindly ask that you skip the gifts—we’ve got everything we need (especially if you bring your dance moves and good vibes). We just want to party with you!

What if I have dietary restrictions?

No worries! The haciendas are prepared to make separate food for people with dietary restrictions. PLEASE fill out our survey in the top right of the website, we will be using that to track dietary restrictions. We also will use some the survey answers as a way to thank you for being our guest! ;)

Is there anything that is not included?

The haciendas are fully staffed, and tips are not technically included, you’ll want to bring some cash for the butler, housekeeping, and bartender (on the wedding day). They will be taking care of you & we want to make sure everyone takes care of them. Additional excursions or spa treatments are also not included. More info on that as we come closer to the weekend.

What if I want a specific type of alcohol?

We of course will be getting a little bit of everything so that everyone has some thing to drink. Let us know your favorites in our survey.

If there is something else you are wanting, the concierge will be available to do grocery runs. The concierge staff will charge 30% additional to any grocery/alcohol charges, and you will be responsible for the whole cost if you ask them to do a store run for you. There are also stores on the way from the airport to the haciendas.
